A Espectacle
Hello teacher and classmates, today i will tell you about my last experience going to the stadium to see Colo Colo for the Copa Libertadores.
To get into context, the Copa Libertadores is like the Champions League but from South America, they are matches that are generally played on weekday at the night since all teams must compete in their local league on weekends.
This match that i will tell you about was Colo Colo vs Cerro Porteño (Paraguay) on April 3 at 9 p.m. in the Monumental stadium ubicated in Macul, whixh auited me well enough to leave the JGM campus where i went to train football in peace.
I went to watch this match with my dad, throughout the game we were suffering since the team didn´t play very well but we deserved to win the game since we create enough clear goals options but the goals did not come out and scoring goals against Paraguayan teams is very difficult since they defend themselves very well.
Finally, to out joy and that of the 40.000 people who were in the stadium, Colo Colo he managed to score an agonizing goal at minute 90 +3, being the most shouted by the people in a long time, the stadium collapsed with that goal celbration.
In this Copa Libertadores it was Colo Colo´s only goal at home for the moment since their other 2 games they tied 0-0 vs Alianza Lima (Peru) and lost 0-1 vs Fluminense (Brazil).
Below i will leave you a compact of the match:
